I agree perhaps that is why Nikon are slow to produce a D400. If they did I too would say do I need it what I have works very well and I no longer have any DX lenses!

I also liked my F3 Nikon from film days and my daughter Clare (who is joining this group still) keeps her F3 but is now using a D300.
