It is totally manual with no auto f/stops but the TS mechanism also rotates for use at any angle and it offers + - 8* Tilt and + - 12* Shift degrees.

This wide coverage gives it extreme sharpness when used at 0*T  0*S as a prime.

Most of my work so far has been on a tripod with unhurried setups so the manual aspect hasn't been an issue at all.
