Initial responses by media were that this is the greatest day ever for Adobe, but I think this might really hurt Adobe badly.
Think about it. Photo will be a compromise between iPhoto and Aperture and will be FREE. Who would ever buy Adobe Elements or even Lightroom except very serious amateurs or Pros (who already own LR and PS).
Checkmate - Adobe no longer has any way to grow !! ???
