I agree Tom.
Seems like a winner for Apple to combine Aperture and iPhoto into one app Photos.
This will cause some hair tearing at Adobe.
I am waiting for my first invite from Apple to go get the beta for Yosemite. This will give first indications of the Photos app.
To the best of my knowledge Yosemite is freely available, you may possibly need to register as a developer, which is free. This is new policy since Mavericks. You don't get to access the seeders forum but I think there is a developers forum.
