I think the D750 does have a LPF but the strength can vary between bodies, some are more prone to unsharpness than others I understand.
I guess the only way to be sure would be for one of us to buy it and try it?
Deep down, although I am very attached to my D200's I somehow feel if I did buy another body it will be an FX, I have always felt the DX format was a temporary expedient until Nikon worked out how to make a 35mm sensor, which the called the FX. My policy was always to try to buy film lenses knowing that eventually Nikon would develop a proper sensor. I chose my lenses carefully, with this in mind.
