I just got the 16-50 zoom at the moment and for the cheaper end of the fuji lenses it's sharp. I am finding I have very little to do to the files and jpeg's are good sotc.
I'll invest in some better lenses later the 35 f1.4 being one of them.
I use the 16-50 on my IR converted XE1. Unlike the more expensive zooms it has only minor a hotspot and it is nice and sharp at a good price....especially as I bought it used!
