The other beauty of that lens is that if at any time in the future I do decide to return to the nikon fold then sigma wiill (for a charge) change the mount ,so you don't lose your favourite lens by switching camera brands
Looked into this a while ago.
Changing a mount on new only Sigma lenses can be expensive as they only do it in Japan and you have to pay shipping and insurance both ways + their fee.
Probably better off to sell it used or find someone with a Nikon verson and trade.
