There were about 4000 replies by readers to a byThom survey and the results are worth noting.

Unless I missed it, they weren't asked WHY they regarded the D7200 as something other than the D300 replacement ...that Nikon perceive it to be.
Just shows how the DX sensor is important a wide range of serious shooters.
