OK, I know, ANOTHER Apple thread! I know some of us use Apple software for processing and lament the passing of Aperture and it's replacement with an App called 'Photos' Which seems so dumbed down and about as useless as a chocolate fireguard. Well a couple of days ago I came across a plugin for the El Capitan version of Photos. Apple did promise to develop Photos over time and the addition of a plugin facility is it's first step. I haven't been able to mention this until now. There is already one particularly interesting plugin which seems to replicate at least some of the develop features of Lightroom. It even seems to introduce a system of Layers of allow the image to be adjusted with separate effects for individual areas of the image. http://macphun.com/products Look for 'Tonality', from the info I have it seems pretty good, well worth checking out, if you are reluctant to shell out for the more expensive software, just to retouch and adjust the occasional image. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6hMMC-f5JF8&feature=youtu.be
