Believe me, I'm an Apple fanboy...but...they show no commitment to high end photo users.
Stick with Adobe or iView (oops, Capture One) or some SYSTEM that will survive intact.

I know Tom, That is my take too.
The reason I posted the links is that I know there are some who are happy to keep the processing side low key and don't have a need for higher level processing software. This is the first attempt I have seen by Apple to cater for the more serious enthusiast and so I felt I needed to share that here.
After all, images from recent and current cameras need very little in the way of post processing, save a small tweak to the tones and perhaps a simple crop and rotate to get the horizon straight!
