I usually check EXIF in Photoshop or Lightroom, you get a fuller report (more data) from Photoshop. Have never used Bridge to check metadata, did not know it was possible.
The only time I have used Bridge was to open JPEG's in the RAW processor ADR? Which gives some finer controls over tones and white balance, together with it's batch processing features.
