Too much cloud. Also the moon is too bright just now so your chances of seeing much are zip. You need darkness and clear skies or it's not worth trekking out. It's also hit or miss whether you'll see any movement in the aurora. Most of the time it's just a glow in the sky. If you're lucky you'll catch it moving but I've only seen that once.
