Its as if they are trying to match the mirrorless for weight and dimension...except for the carbuncle on top.

And the other thing.....why are Nikon selling the idea that a 24mp camera is ideal for social media? Surely a phone or iPad would suffice...with no need for snapbridge or any connectivity to a secondary smart device.

Maybe a great intro camera for someone wanting to learn photography but not the sort of thing you stuff in your handbag for a night out with friends.


One of the things the Snapbridge interface does is resize the image to 2MP or is it 2MB for social media use.
Whilst that is fine the Bluetooth/Snapbridge is a complete PITA. 

I agree that an iPad is a better prospect for social media use.


That's the problem isn't it...adding a PITA stage to getting images from a bulky camera to Twitter. People today have enough trouble keeping their phones when out and about...can just imagine them lugging a DSLR about with them.

It just doesn't seem well thought out.
