Need a large, heavy tripod to achieve the aim of holding the camera rock steady in all (most) conditions. My Bronica S2a was wrecked by a puff of wind blowing my relatively heavy and well spread out Benbo tripod over.
Earlier this year I needed to tie the tripod to my car to prevent the tripod from blowing away. When it blows here it really blows!
