If Nikon made the new FX mirror less with the same electronics as their mirrored models, it would be be a simple straight thru wiring like that found on automatic extension tubes.
Yes exactly and there is no reason to change the interface, especially the G lenses which have fully electronic interfaces.
This is why I find it so strange that Nikon do not have a FX sized mirrorless camera.
The Nikon1 series is fine it is just that it is crippled for professional use by the sensor size.
