I have been using a 70-300 VR G for my aircraft photos and it was fine but has been sold. I am leaning toward the 70-200 as it will probably be more useful in the long run.The Tamron 70-200 f2.8 will be much heavier than the Nikon 70-300, I would try and find another 70-300.
Where would the fun be if there were not so many cool items to choose
