I tried the LUMIX super zoom bridge cameras but found them not to be very sharp and often over exposing, but the exposure was unreliable so you couldn't just set -1 or whatever on the compensation because then you;d get a whole load too dark. When you need the jpeg to be a good as possible without processing it is very frustrating. I think that is why I went for the Nikon even though it was almost twice the price.
