 Robert, Go get a trial copy of the new software from ON1 called PhotoRAW 2018 when it comes out in late October/early November.

It is everything LR is and will have Layers......... yeah finally someone has listened. This means that you will have an easy to use software with good catalog and fast RAW editing and layers along with HDR etc....

Hint for testing these softwares. Never shoot a new set of images always use a set that you have processed through at least one other software you like and use the same images and see how they come out.
