Well done Jan, hope it's good long term.

If we don't try these things we will never learn or advance ourselves.

However, for now at least I am sticking with the Adobe Lightroom - Photoshop combo. I can't garner the effort needed to learn yet more software tricks and routines.

I am very happy with Lightroom, Photoshop is there when I need it for the occasional more sophisticated editing.

I am also currently wrestling with star stacking software, various panorama software and even focus stacking software, that is challenge enough without contemplating changing my foundation software as well.

Lightroom is not just my standard image processor, it's the foundation of my image file system. Currently around 35,000 images. It works very well, I can locate pretty well any image I need in a short time. I still have many negatives and slides to digitise, hopefully over the winter I will get back into that and add to my digital library of photographs to enjoy.
