Have you tried a clean, fresh install of OS then CS6 on a completely clean disk? Make it the only drive in the MacPro to start with, just so it can't pick up any distracting files from elsewhere.

That would be my starting point in this case.

... Another approach might be to try clone your MBP drive to a spare drive for the MP then run off that?
