It does work on my MacPro (3,1) perhaps I would recommend other to do the ElCapitan to Sierra and check ifthe apps all work OK. Make a SuperDuper! clone then step on up to High Sierra. Then check the apps again.
I did a ElCapitan to High Sierra step which may have caused the issue with Photoshop CS6.
The wireless adapter function works fine after the upgrade but that is hardware dependent (Broadcom BCM4231 module is not hardware compatible) and is a fix via a plist edit or an exchange of the wireless board in the MacPro which is very easy.
