Having just invested in my first long prime lens to be used mostly for wildlife I'm wondering if the use of neoprene lens cover (Lens Coat et al) is a good idea or not. From what I can tell, plus points would be the camouflage and protection from minor knocks & scuffs on the barrel. Conversely, I can foresee moisture being retained under the cover meaning a tedious regimen after a damp day out. Any thoughts...? Thanks
