Which Z did you go for Eric?
Z7 or Z6. The 500mm will be great as you know but I will be interested to hear how you like/dislike the Z.

I've had a brief look at the digital zoom on the FZ2000. Need to talk to Mike about his results because on THIS model you cannot use digital zoom when shooting Raw,
