going off tack would changing my d300s give better i.q in 14 bit or 12 bit or would I not notice the difference apart from burst rate ???

looking at a d7200 at the moment which has a fairly large buffer but hesitating as not certain if its the right way to go ... going off tack would changing my d300s give better i.q in 14 bit or 12 bit or would I not notice the difference apart from burst rate ???
