Unless of course you use the "latest posts" option in the ndslr theme ......
I think that has the clearest meaning for anyone not familiar with the layout of the forum, just trying to avoid ambiguity for newcomers really.
Every forum has it's own layout and terms, once the user finds their way around, the descriptions matter less, it then comes down to button position and location map in the brain, like we don't tend to look at the keyboard too much.
I am still having difficulty knowing if the text in the splash screen Recent Posts button is green or blue. It either needs a change of text to "Latest Posts" and "No New Posts" or a different choice of colours like green and red, or change the background colour maybe? Frequently I think the text is blue but have a look anyway and find there are new, unread posts. Which kind of negates the benefit of the colour change. Either the colour isn't changing when there are new posts or my eyes aren't seeing the colour change. It did appear slightly green this morning. Maybe even a bold letter style might do the trick, like the header buttons?
