very much on a learning curve with this Jonathon , the bottom one had to be totally black ,the main reason I have started doing this is in the owl place your shooting at low flying brown birds against a brown sea marsh i.e brown on brown and also shooting into the light or low winter sun due to when they come out to play , so a lot of good sharp images have had to be abandoned due to lack of contrast . this is simply a way in my books to save them . I don't learn from books or u.tube or advice but by playing around and finding what I like , and my chief critic SWMBO then stands behind me and says its either good or not .
