Nice - bit like taking my MG back to Abingdon When I was very young and an aircraft enthusiast, I used to go over to the scrapyard at the airport - they had old Spitfires and other wartime machines, but no Lancs! There was a Miles Magister that was flown from Hendon to Southend during the war - it had been rigged back to front and the pilot complained - he was told jokingly to sit backwards or upside down, whatever he needed to do - 20 or so mins later he landed at Southend - he just got on with it!
