 Fresh back from using ot for the first time,  it's wonderful, works like a dream.  Made six minute exposures for the first time with digital.  The D800 handles it perfectly.

Thanks for the suggestion Chris, I will try splitting it tomorrow, see what's possible.  I just taped it up for now.  It's well worth restoring to good health.
