I put the amount that I am willing to pay into my AutionSniper profile for that item and tell it to make the bid 2seconds before the end.  I get an email that says the result which also shows the item in my eBay account.
I dont need to waste time waiting for the end or get outbid by someone who sees my early bid and tops it.
