And what exactly does that do Jonathon , .. personally if I'm interested in something I set myself a limit and bid in the last few seconds .. sometimes I win others I get outbid .. but I do study what the retailers offer to .. I very nearly bought a Olympus lens ( different to the one mentioned above ) mid week but bidding went to high and retailers were similarly overpriced , yesterday I spotted one in unused condition with a lens hood ( optional extras on Olympus) for well under market price on a buy it now ,only been listed a few minutes before and grabbed it quick ..
I put the amount that I am willing to pay into my AutionSniper profile for that item and tell it to make the bid 2seconds before the end. I get an email that says the result which also shows the item in my eBay account.
I dont need to waste time waiting for the end or get outbid by someone who sees my early bid and tops it.
