That's excellent Eric, thanks for the tip.

It was tricky because there wasn't much of the near maroon red to draw on for a source.

I am very relieved about the fix because I'm not sure I can revert the MacPro back to High Sierra from Mojave, I know changes were made to the firmware, those changes may prevent a back-grade to the previous OS, I admit I haven't investigated but that's my impression.

Having the Wacom Intuos 4 tablet is far more important to me than having Mojave over High Sierra, I just wanted to keep my OS up to date, there are occasions that's not a good policy.  I am very relieved that the tablet is working again.  It was simply a case of carefully following a procedure provided by Wacom.  I had struggled to find the info on the Wacom website,  it's well hidden, I was following the links and going in circles.

Anyone struggling to get their Wacom tablet to work needs to visit 'Security and Privacy' in the Apple system preferences under the Privacy tab, -> Accessibility, then open the lock, and tick all of the Wacom items, save the changes and close the lock, back out, then re-start the computer.  That should fix the issues, initially I had failed to save the changes and close the lock.
