After some brief head scratching I have found the technique for the following workflow conundrum, but I thought it might be interesting to challenge other forum members to see if they can solve the problem below with minimal superfluous keystrokes or mouse clicks. 132 Images 132 unique non numerical descriptive filenames required (currently on a hand written list in the same order as the capture times of the images) The subjects are ribbons and must be named descriptively for Search Engine Optimisation The first 21 images must include '1.5 inch' at the beginning of the name, followed one of 30 or so descriptions eg. 'Briar Rose' or 'Wild Iris' then a price of '$6.50' The next 30 or so must include '1 inch' at the beginning of the name, followed by one of 30 or so descriptions eg. 'Briar Rose' or 'Abalone' then a price of '$4.50' The next 30ish must include '5/8 inch' at the beginning of the name, followed by one of 30 or so descriptions eg. 'Abalone' or 'Tuscan' then a price of '$3.50' The last 30ish must include '7/16 inch' at the beginning of the name, followed by one of 30 or so descriptions eg. 'Midas Touch' or 'Wild Iris' then a price of '$2.50' All 132 must include the text 'Hanah Hand Dyed Silk Ribbon' after the size and before the price (it doesn't matter if it precedes or follows the description) Ribbon descriptions do not necessarily apply to all sizes and are not in any particular order other than the fact that the images have been grouped by the 4 sizes BTW I will use '-' instead of '/' in the fractions So what software and techniques can you suggest?
