That way Nikon can use that Sony 60mpx sensor and bump prices again - I doubt the D780 will stay at that price for long if Nikon's recent discounting is anything to go by?

I think the D780 pricing feels so off due to the discounts and drop in price like on the Z6 and D750 currently. I reckon we'll see the D850 disappear pretty soon replaced by a D880 alongside a Z8/9 That way Nikon can use that Sony 60mpx sensor and bump prices again - I doubt the D780 will stay at that price for long if Nikon's recent discounting is anything to go by?
