I agree with most of what Eric said, like him my working life from 1958 to retirement 2010 was as a commercial and advertising photographer (a lot of the time in studios) to a very high tec standard but most of time hands tied by art directors and sales directors in large companies. Working in Rhodesia 1962-1975 was far more creative mostly for, tourist publicity for airlines and national parks. I had many weeks over several years working on my own in some very wild parts of Southern Africa taking wildlife photos, hence my return now as a retired photographer to bird photography.
