I read somewhere that the slots are only released for a couple of days at a time - I have seen slots appear randomly at any time of day, any day of the week.

I have given up on home deliveries now - if one of my sons is in Tescos he calls us and gets anything we want, but I am doing 90% of the shopping in a couple of visits to Morrisons each week - it is only a few hundred yards from us.
