Even if you locked the whole world down for 21 days, the virus would survive in the animals it jumped from and would just jump again?
It may return but these inter-species jumps are occasional and rely on people having animals in unclean conditions.
It it did 'jump out' again then it would be different.
BTW This will happen again.
I have some sympathy with the idea of herd immunity - if indeed we are immune having had Covid.
To do that you need to accept that it is survival of the fittest and accept large numbers of deaths.
The media are responsible for the hyping, followed by the politicians who fear for bad press and the sheep who delight in witch hunting. A sad comment on people. I am also fed up with ill informed people asking other ill informed people what they think about things that nobody knows the answer to.
I agree that the media is poor and no longer to be trusted as their owners have their own agenda.
