Until my D610 can't do what I want, I'll be staying with it - the mirror is actually quite quiet, certainly much quieter than the D90!
I was playing with an F5 a few days ago, to see if VR worked with it as it happens, and I took a couple of shots on the ancient film that was in it. The shutter noise is quite different from that of the D4, not louder but of a different character.
