Version 3 bears little relation to version 1. Also V3 would not run on the G5 tower only intel Macs.
I realise that but once on a ship there is little point in changing unless the experience is so bad that it justifies the pain of jumping to a different ship.
My experience with Lr has been very good.
I can see nothing in Aperture that would improve my image processing and DAM compared with Lightroom but I think its about time I had a version to test. to sit along side the iPhoto I use for testing. Photo Stream is a very interesting aspect, which needs more exploring.
