I usually try to be at a reserve about an hour after sunrise to ensure there is plenty of light and the sunĀ is still low. It also allows me to observe birds of prey once the temp starts to rise to hopefully be in a good spot to see and hopefully photograph them.

Yes I did use the D500 with 200-500mm lens
