Just take one Mac to Lion to dip your toe in? It's been very stable for me.

I still have one on SL, on a separate partition. If you have enough space on the built in drive you can partition on the fly while running live. I even have the MBP which I am using here with Lion on one partition and ML on the other.


I have had some problems with Apple updates haning in Lion. It otherwise it has been very stable. Last couple of updates were no problem, since I started putting them through individually rather than letting the updated just do all at once it has been better. My MacBook came with Snow Leapord and I updated to Lion, my wife's MacBook air which came with Lion has never had a single problem.

Only issue is I have switched to Natural scrolling to match the iPad, she refuses so now each of us is driven mad by the others machine!
