If true, there is a depressing feeling of d©j vu about this.
Nikon were sleepwalking through the D2X era but woken with a jolt with the wholesale drift to Canon.
They threw everything they had planned for future drip feeding to the market, in one go....the D3. Phew!
I have no doubt that Nikon have some clever developments waiting to be metered out when the time best suits them. That's the problem.
Its pointless pulling rabbits out of a hat, when the unsatiated audience is leaving the building.
No matter how ground shaking the next 💤 camera will be, some of the audience won't return.
