As a lot of the hard core members will know I switched to Olympus about 18 months ago following heart failure and surgery , .to carry on I needed to reduce carried weight .  during the course of that 18 months I have bought and sold quite a few combinations of lenses some good some not so good but all useable ..
I have now settled on for my wildlife use an Olympus 100-400 and an Olympus 1.4 tc which gives in full frame terms a useable 1150mm focal range that is still hand holdable .

but this is not about that , a lot of new stuff is coming to the market made in china and extremely good here's the three I have added to my armoury

first off a Samyang 7.5mm fisheye lens ,this is superb little lens and although M/F it in use focusses from 2 inch to infinity so once set you never need to focus to get a sharp shot ,they can be found used in various mounts for around £120 highly recommended and can be de-fished in Lightroom as the lens profile is there.

next and a truly amazing bit of kit is the 7artisans 60mm f2.8 macro again M/F but most peeps prefer m/f anyway I have owned two of the highly acclaimed Olympus 60mm macros before (couldn't gel with them ) and this ones i.q is as good as if not slightly better . it features a all metal construction and a extendable removable lens hood ,a solidly built lens that takes no prisoners again a bargain price in various mounts at £159 bnib or cheaper if found used

and finally my latest aquisition not yet tried in the field (arrived weds) a Xiaoyi 42.5 mm f1.8  A/F lens with built in macro facility ,all plastic body construction tested and works well . plenty of rave reviews on u.tube on it just stole this one off e.bay for £50 ,bargain or not .

so there you have it don't overlook these Chinese wonders especially if like me your on a tight financial leash
