It does now - I stripped it right down and cleaned / polished the gears/shafts/spring drums/etc and gave it a new spring suspension for the pendulum. The face was stripped down to the component parts and the brass plate stripped, polished and lacquered. I spray painted the central disc with a gold metallic as it was impossible to clean the textured surface, I left the silvered chapter ring and quarters alone. The case just needed a good wax and polish. It stikes correctly now but the Westminster chimes are off and I can't work out why that is.
