Tom Hogan musing about reported D800 focus probs. He suggests users need to master system. Seem to remember D2X and D3X had similar problems for some users.
That is probably correct.
The controls for the AF settings are located differently and people tend to assume that factory defaults work best. Sometimes but not always in my experience.
