   It’s strange really, horses still considering themselves prey. You would have thought the absence of predators in the UK for centuries might have bred out a bit of that nervousness?  Mind you, having seen my wife wolf down a T-bone steak after a hike in the Julian Alps a few years back, I could imagine a horse being nervous in her presence.
