So,the Sony ( ZEISS ? ) lenses do have VR build -in as well ?..thought they have that build-into the camera ,or in Both perhaps?
Could it be the software ..or is it just the one lens ?
Camera calibration is Incredibly Important I have been told, and we are talking Digital( software ) focusing among other anomalies.
Let us know how you are getting on, seems that the more complex the equipment has become, problems follow suit in complexity.

I do not use my equipment to make photo`s .. I take photo`s to use my equipment
The better I become at photography,the better my camera gets.
