Sony knows all about quality lenses I had 30 years of working with Sony broadcast top-quality video cameras all pin sharp and the latter ones had autofocus that never lost focus. I now have 5 Sony lenses with my Sony A1 and they can not be faulted in terms of sharpness, image quality, and spot-on autofocus.
