That’s not a fledgling Chris it a adult little owl and they can be nasty little bu***rs.
Oh, OK, well the silly b*****r got one wing stuck in one hole and one in another - seemed happy enough to let me get it out!
The feathers looked immature - maybe got roughed up in its escape attempts.
But then I know more about horses than birds.
