This is one aspect that iPhones excel but unfortunately as with all these phone pictures they look superb small on the iphone/ipad screen but dont stand up if enlarged to 8x10".
You are right of course but I haven’t printed a photo for several years….apart from
The advantage of phone sensors is the immense depth of field they enable …if you need it. Jan was photographing a minute false widow spider on her orchids the other day. It was only about 3mm long! ( she wanted to identify what it was) .
I tried to get a comparable image with the Sony + 90mm macro but struggled with f28 and noise due to the low light in that location.
