I think there is an adapter for Sony lenses to Fuji X mount cameras. Not sure if this is the older type or the E type lenses. Because it's nearly the same flange distance for E lenses there is no possibly space for an adapter.
But of course you want to reduce your lens count/investment but remember the x1.5 factor with APS-C.
Yes I am practising stepping 2 paces back.
Not going to a big investment. I will get the body and try the IR lens on it first.
