Are they Tuscan or UK?
We have a large fig tree and the fruits never really produce eatable figs. There are lots on there but the birds ruin them and the ones we get off are very substandard compared to supermarket ones.
Mind you, I hack it to death each year so it’s more like a hedge now and we don’t water or feed it so maybe it’s paying me back with what it thinks is sufficient!!
